The Art & Science of Health Promotion Institute is seeking a health promotion thought leader to serve as Conference Program Chair of the annual Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference.
The Conference Program Chair is responsible for all aspects of the conference program, including articulating the conference theme, refining the flow of conference events, confirming keynote speakers, selecting all other presenters, and serving as master of ceremonies during the conference, but will be free of operational or administrative responsibility for the conference.
Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree in a health-related area; in-depth and broad knowledge of health promotion demonstrated by at least two decades of ongoing work experience; high visibility in health promotion leadership, practice and scientific spheres through publications, and public speaking; and be energized by serving in a visible public leadership role.
This role presents an opportunity for an outstanding individual to help shape the national health promotion discussion. The Chair will receive an annual stipend in addition to coverage of travel expenses.
