Who is SNEB?
The Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) represents the unique professional interests of nutrition educators worldwide. SNEB is dedicated to promoting effective nutrition education and healthy behavior through research, policy and practice and has a vision of healthy communities, food systems and behaviors.
Who Belongs to SNEB?
SNEB is an international community of professionals actively involved in nutrition education and health promotion. Their work takes place in colleges, universities and schools, government agencies, cooperative extension, communications and public relations firms, the food industry, voluntary and service organizations and with other reliable places of nutrition and health education information.

Members of SNEB are able to take advantage of a variety of benefits including: public policy updates, networking opportunities, the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior (JNEB), continuing education opportunities through the SNEB Annual Conference and webinars, member only listserv and the ability to join special, focused interest groups known as Divisions to connect you even more with nutrition professionals across the globe.

2019 Annual Conference
The 2019 SNEB Annual Conference will take place in Orlando, FL from July 27-30, 2019. The theme of the conference is “Nutrition Education: Rooted in Food.” It is a reminder of our origins as food and nutrition educators. It’s a call to action that underscores the need to safeguard food producing resources and improve healthy food access in a time of political, social and planetary disruption. 2019 Conference Abstract Submissions
The abstract categories being accepted are: Research Abstracts, Program Abstracts, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Abstracts, FNEE Pre-Conference Research and FNEE Pre-Conference Programs. For information related to abstracts, be sure to visit www.sneb.org/abstracts/. The deadline to submit abstracts at the lowest cost and to be considered for oral presentation is January 23, 2019. Late breaking abstracts are due by March 1, 2019.
